Militant hideout busted in J&K

Jammu: A militant hideout was busted on Sunday and a huge cache of arms and ammunition recovered by security forces in Kishtwar district of Jammu and Kashmir.

Acting on a specific information, troops of 11
Rashtriya Rifles (RR) along with police launched a cordon and
search operation in the forests of Kishtwar and busted the
hideout, an Army officer said.

He said the arms and ammunition included three
12-bore rifles, one Chinese made pistol, one Pakistan made
pistol, two magazines, 19 pistol rounds, two hand grenades,
one UBGL launcher, four UBGL grenades, and 112 rounds of AK
rifle.

They also recovered boarding and lodging material
from the hideout.
