Militant hideout busted in Kashmir

Police and troops of CRPF 125 battalion launched a search operation in Rangwar forests and unearthed the hideout

Srinagar: Security forces on Saturday busted a
militant hideout and recovered a huge cache of arms and
ammunition in a forest area of Kupwara district in north
Kashmir, a police spokesman said.

Acting on a specific information, police and troops of
CRPF 125 battalion launched a search operation in Rangwar
forests and unearthed the hideout, the spokesman said.

The recoveries included a pistol, seven 9 mm rounds, 490
AK rounds, eight magazines, 19 grenades, a radio set, nine
grenade fuses, a remote control IED and one 51 mm mortar.
