Militants` hideout busted in J&K

Security forces Saturday busted a hideout of militants and recovered arms and ammunition, including five kilograms of RDX, in Budgam district of central Kashmir, police said.

including five kilograms of RDX, in Budgam district of central
Kashmir, police said.

Police assisted by troops of 29 Rashtriya Rifles and 176
battalion of CRPF came across the hideout at Rutsuna forests
during cordon and search operation between Nayebasti and Bun
Maqhama, 50 km from here, a police spokesman said.

One AK 47 rifle, five AK magazines, two Chinese Pistols,
one Rocket shell, five kilograms power RDX, 600 AK rounds, one
Pencil bomb, one IED (improvised explosive device detonator),
One UBGL (under barrel grenade launcher) shell and one
wireless set with antenna were recovered among others.

However, no one was arrested from the hideout, he said.
