Jammu: A class 9 girl was repeatedly raped
and blackmailed by two men who filmed an MMS of the victim in Nagrota area in the outskirts of the city, police officials said Thursday.
Acting on the complaint of the 15-year-old girl`s
father, the police conducted raids in Nagrota town and arrested the two accused last night, they said.
The duo have been identified as Paray Lal (27) and Sumit
Kumar (18). They were produced before a local court which sent
them in police remand for further questioning.
As per the preliminary investigation, the girl was
repeatedly being raped as the accused were blackmailing her by
recording a video clip of her, they said.
She was threatened by the accused of dire consequences
if she narrated the incident to her family.
