Minor killed, 3 family members injured in J&K house collapse

A seven-year-old boy was on Friday killed and three other family members were injured when their dilapidated house collapsed in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir.

Jammu: A seven-year-old boy was on Friday killed and three other family members were injured when their dilapidated house collapsed in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir.

The house, located in village Nakka Majira area of Mendhar in Poonch district, belonged to Mohammad Iqbal. It collapsed at around 2:00 am today while the family members were asleep, police officials said.

Iqbal, his wife and two sons were buried under the debris, they said, adding that police with the help of locals recovered the injured and shifted them to hospital.

Minor Wahid Ahmed died in the incident and three others of his family members were injured, they said.
