`MP CM assured safety of Kashmiri boys there`

A Kashmiri student who was shot at Saturday in Ujjain district of Madhya Pradesh is out of danger in a Indore hospital.

Jammu: Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar
Abdullah on Sunday said his Madhya Pradesh counterpart Shivraj
Singh Chouhan has assured safety of Kashmiri boys in that
state and punishment of those involved in the recent shooting
of a J&K student in Ujjain district.

"(I) spoke to the CM of MP regarding Ujjain shooting of
Kashmiri youth. He has assured guilty will be punished and
other Kashmiri boys safety also," Omar tweeted.

An M Phil student at Vikram Vishwavidhyala in Ujjain --
Shabbir Ahmed from Srinagar -- was critically injured after
being fired at by two unidentified assailants on Saturday.

Police had registered a case and has started investigation
into it.
