Srinagar: A 35-year-old man died and three
of his family members fell unconscious in their house here, a
police spokesman said on Sunday.
Fareeda and her sons -- Manzoor Ahmad Mir, Bashir and
Ishfaq -- were found unconscious in their house in Azad Basti
locality in Natipora area this morning.
They were rushed to hospital where Manzoor, aged 35, was
declared brought dead, the spokesman said adding the condition
of his mother and two brothers was critical.
The family, which took dinner last night, did not
respond to repeated knocks at the door of the house, the
spokesman said.
The neighbours entered the house through a window and
found all the four unconscious.
This might be a case of food poisoning, the spokesman
said adding investigations were on.
