PDP asks Centre to address anti-India sentiment in Kashmir

Blaming alleged misgovernace by Omar Abdullah for the present turmoil in Kashmir, main opposition PDP on Tuesday asked New Delhi to immediately address anti-India sentiment in the Valley defuse the crisis.

Jammu: Blaming alleged misgovernace by
Omar Abdullah for the present turmoil in Kashmir, main
opposition PDP on Tuesday asked New Delhi to immediately address
anti-India sentiment in the Valley defuse the crisis.

"There has been anti-Indian sentiment in Kashmir since
1947. And misgovernace by the Omar Abdullah Government has
aggravated it further resulting in present turmoil in the
Valley", Head of PDP delegation and MLA Zulfikar Ali told
reporters here.

"New Delhi has to address this anti-India sentiment in
the Valley, if it is looking for a solution to the present
crisis," he said.
