PDP holds rally against corruption

The women activists took out a march from the party headquarters near Municipal park, shouting slogans against the state government.

Srinagar: Continuing its protests against
the Jammu and Kashmir government, the women`s wing of
opposition PDP on Thursday staged a rally in the city against
"rampant corruption" in the state.

When police tried to stop them, a brief scuffle took place
after which the protesters staged dharna and burnt an effigy
of the government.
