New Delhi: Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) MP Muzaffar Baig has reportedly tendered his resignation to Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Mufti Mohammad Sayeed on Tuesday.
Baig has said yesterday that the beginning of alliance between the Bharatiya Janata Party and PDP was not on a good note.
"It is not a promising beginning but I am still hopeful," he was quoted by PTI.
PDP patron Mufti Mohammad Sayeed had stirred controversy after he gave credit to Pakistan, Hurriyat and militant outfits for peaceful polls in the state which was rebutted by BJP.
Baig, a former Deputy Chief Minister, had also added, "in the last 24 hours, some statements on both sides (PDP-BJP) have created confusion".
