Jammu: An organisation representing Pakistan occupied Kashmir refugees on Sunday took out a protest rally here in support of their demands, including compensation and ownership rights.
Led by PoK Refugee Front President Yudhvir Singh Chib, over 200 refugees took out a protest march in Muthi area here and raised slogans against the government.

The protesters criticised the state government for not rehabilitating them even after decades since they were forced to flee from their homes.

The refugees also demanded adequate compensation, financial assistance, quota to their wards in professional and technical education besides government jobs, regulation of refugee localities, reservation in state assembly and registration of left-out families.
