Suspected militant arrested on LoC in Poonch

Jammu: Army has arrested a suspected
militant while he was trying to cross over to Pakistan via
Line of Control (LoC) allegedly for arms training, in Poonch
district of the state, defence sources said.

Troops guarding the LoC arrested Gulzar Ahmed of Pulwama
district in Kashmir, when a group of four militants were
trying to cross over to Pakistan occupied Kashmir (POK) along
LoC at Sher Shakti post in Shahpur Kerni area of Poonch
district last night, they said.

However, three other militants managed to escape, they
said, adding, a manhunt has been launched.
