Three dreaded terrorists killed in encounter in J&K's Kupawara

Jammu: While several government agencies are trying to bring the worst flood-hit state of Jammu and Kashmir back on track, Pakistan-backed militant outfits are trying to take advantage of this situation.

In the latest such incident, three dreaded terrorists were killed in an encounter with the Indian Army while trying to infiltrate into the Indian side.

On specific information about presence of a group of militants, troops launched an operation along the LoC in Keran forward area in Kupwara district this morning, a Defence Spokesman said.

In the operation, all three heavily armed terrorists were killed, he said.

A large quantity of arms and ammunition were also recovered from them.
