Three pilgrims injured as stone rolls down near Vaishnodevi shrine

Three pilgrims, including a 10-year-old boy, were injured after a big stone rolled down and hit them near cave shrine of Mata Vaishnodevi in Reasi district here on Friday.

Jammu: Three pilgrims, including a 10-year-old boy, were injured after a big stone rolled down and hit them near cave shrine of Mata Vaishnodevi in Reasi district here on Friday.

"A big stone rolled down and hit three pilgrims near gate number-3 of the cave shrine today," a police spokesperson said.

Abhay, from Aligarh, is seriously injured and was admitted to Community Health Centre in Katra.

The other two injured pilgrims are 20-year-old Surjeet Barman from West Bengal and 30-year-old Rajiv Singh from Rajasthan.

All three have been hospitalised.
