Three sibling injured in explosion in Srinagar

Three minor siblings were Thursday injured in an explosion which occurred inside their house in Lolab area of Kupwara district in north Kashmir, officials said here.

Srinagar: Three minor siblings were Thursday
injured in an explosion which occurred inside their house in Lolab area of Kupwara district in north Kashmir, officials said here.

Two sons and a daughter of Mohammad Sharief Khan had
found an unexploded shell in the fields of Margi Takipora in
Lolab area, 110 kms from here, and brought it home, they said.

While the children were fiddling with the shell, it
exploded causing injuries to them.

The injured have been identified as 15-year-old
Mashooq Khan, 10-year-old Naaza and Adil Khan (7).
This is second such incident in the past one month in
the Kashmir Valley. Three siblings were killed in a similar
blast in Maloora locality in the outskirts of Srinagar city on
February 13.
