Three railway employees were suspended for their alleged negligence after two bogies of a train derailed in the railway yard at Jammu station here.

Jammu: Three railway employees were suspended for their alleged negligence after two bogies of a train derailed in the railway yard at Jammu station here.

The Shalamar train, which was shifted to the washing line in the railway yard at Jammu station, slipped down the track and two of its bogies derailed last night, railway
officials said.

Taking serious note of the negligence, Ferozpur Division Railway Manager Awshish Chogi suspended three employees - pointman, cabinman and shunting master, they said.
A probe has also been ordered in this regard, they said.
