Two killed, three injured due to shooting stone

Banihal: Two persons, including an Indian Reserve Police (IRP) jawan, were killed and three others injured when a shooting stone hit their vehicle on Jammu-Srinagar national highway in Ramban district.

Two persons-- IRP Jawan Ayaz Ahmad and Bank employee Anil Kumar died on the spot and three others were injured when a shooting stone hit their vehicle at Anokhi Fall in Banihal area of the district this afternoon, police said.

The vehicle was on its way to Srinagar from Jammu when the incident occured, they said adding the injured were shifted to district hospital at Ramban.

The Jamm and Kashmir national is alongside hilly area and is covered by the huge mountains. the risk of accident is very rare in Jamm & Kashmir national highway. sometimes we people protests against admistration. but after hearing the news about this incident `` that the big boulder hit the tavera on its last part where they accused were seated. only they got crushed due to heavy weight of stone but others in that vehicle remained safer....... in my opinion all that happens by the will of GOD,
