Vaishnodevi pilgrim dies

A 40-year-old man, hailing from Ghaziabad died while on way to the holy cave shrine of Vaishno Devi in Jammu and Kashmir`s Reasi district.

Jammu: A 40-year-old man, hailing from Ghaziabad in Uttar Pradesh, died on Saturday while on way to the holy cave shrine of Vaishno Devi in Jammu and Kashmir`s Reasi district.

Subash Chander was on way to the revered cave shrine when he suffered a heart attack at Ardh Kuwari, officials said.

He was rushed to a hospital where doctors declared him brought dead, they said adding the body was handed over to the family after post mortem.
Chander was a resident of Ghaziabad in Uttar Pradesh, the officials said.
