Srinagar: Two youth, impersonating as
militants, were arrested from north Kashmir's Kupwara
district, police said on Thursday.
Khursheed Ahmad Wani and Showkat Ahmad Bhat, both
residents of Saidpora village of Sopore town, barged into the
house of Reyaz Ahmad Wani at Dever village in Kupwara
district, 90 kms from here, a police spokesman said.
He said the two demanded food from the house owner at
"gun-point".
However, the inmates raised a hue and cry and called the
police after which both persons were arrested and a dummy gun
recovered from their possession, he added.
