Irfan, a supporter of Inamdar who is contesting the City
Youth Congress President election, opened fire in the air
threatening rival contestant Yasin to withdraw.
Inamdar had been arrested soon after the incident while a
hunt was on for Irfan, Superintendent of Police Rajappa said.
"No one has been injured in the incident," he added.
He said both the groups were brought to the police station
and warned not to take law into their hands.
