Latehar (Jharkhand): Mounting raids by
the securitymen on Monday forced Maoists to release a munshi, who
was abducted for being engaged in the construction of a
building of a police station, the police said here.
Maoists set the munshi free after the police cornered
them at a place near Barwadih, Superintendent of Police,
Kuldip Diwedi told newsmen here.
The Munshi, who is the son of a chowkidar, was
abducted for working in the construction of a police station
in Latehar’s Barwadih, the police said.
