Ranchi: BJP on Tuesday demanded removal of Jharkhand Governor Syed Ahmed accusing the administration in the state under President`s rule of failing to rein in left-wing extremism and dealing with other law and order matters.
We are deeply shocked and grieved at the death of police personnel in the Maoist attack in Dumka. A district police captain falling to bullets shows the total failure of the state administration under President?s rule,? BJP`s state unit President Ravindra Rai told reporters here.
Murders have been on the rise in Jharkhand, including in the state capital, so also rape and sexual assault incidents in a state under President`s rule, he charged.
Now Congress is moving closer to form a government with JMM with a goal to conduct Lok Sabha elections under its rule. We demand immediate dissolution of the House, he added.
