New Delhi: With the early trends showing the BJP candidates leading by good margins in Jharkhand as the counting of votes began on Tuesday, Janata Dal United said that it was due to the mistakes committed by the ruling alliance led by JMM and Congress in the tribal state.

“The BJP's gain in Jharkhand is the result of the mistakes committee by the JMM and Congress here. This is the reason why it appears that the BJP will be able to form government in Jhrakhand his time,” KC yagi of the JD(U) said in his reaction today.

His remarks came as early trends showed the BJP candidates leading in 11 of the 19 seats in Jharkhand as officials started counting votes polled in assembly elections.

The Bharatiya Janata Party has been widely tipped to emerge the winner in Jharkhand.

Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) candidates were ahead in four seats, the Congress in two and two smaller parties were in one seat each as per the early morning trends.

The Jharkhand assembly has 81 seats.
