Bomb recovered in Jharkhand

Khunti (Jharkhand): The security personnel recovered a can-bomb planted below a kucha road between Bhandra-Jinlinga road in Khunti police station in Khunti district of Jharkhand, the police said.

Acting on a tip-off, the security personnel rushed to the spot and searched out the bomb weighing 40 kg, police superintendent M Tamilvanan said.

A bundle of wire was also found from the spot, he said, adding that process were on to defuse the explosive.
