Boy rescued within hours of kidnapping in Jamshedpur

A three-year-old boy, allegedly kidnapped for ransom by a neighbour in Burmamines area here, was rescued from Dhanbad within a few hours of the incident, an official said Tuesday.

    Jamshedpur: A three-year-old boy, allegedly kidnapped for ransom by a neighbour in Burmamines area here, was rescued from Dhanbad within a few hours of the incident, an official said Tuesday.

   Aditya, son of Sanjay Kumar Jha, was abducted from near his house yesterday.

 When an unidentified man threatened Jha over phone to kill the boy if he informed police, the father immediately lodged a police complaint, Senior Superintendent of Police Amol V Homkar said.

     Soon a special police team on technical inputs conducted a raid in a bus in Dhanbad and rescued the boy and arrested the abductor Deepak Kumar Mishra who was a neighbour of Jha.

     Mishra confessed that he had kidnapped Aditya for ransom. Homkar said.
