Ranchi: A local court Thursday convicted a youth for beheading a girl student at a college campus here last year.
Finding Vijendra Kumar guilty of killing intermediate student Khusboo, the District and Sessions Court of S H Kazmi posted for Monday to pronounce the quantum of sentence.
Kumar, who hails from Jamshedpur, was charged with killing the girl as soon as she came out of the examination hall in the college here last April.
He was overpowered by other students and handed over to the police.
