Five killed in Jharkhand accident

Five persons, including a woman and a child, were killed while six others injured when a jeep fell into a ditch on National Highway-75 in Garwah district Thursday.

Garwah: Five persons, including a woman and a child, were killed while six others injured when a jeep fell into a ditch on National Highway-75 in Garwah district Thursday.
The mishap occurred when the driver of the crowded jeep lost control over the vehicle on a dilapidated road bridge between Murisemar and Garwah and fell about 25 feet under the bridge, police sources said.
Two persons were killed on the spot while three others, including a woman and a child succumbed to injuries,
in Nagar Utari Sub-divisional Hospital, sources said.

The injured, including two seriously, were admitted at
the hospital.
