Isolation wards set up at several hospitals, says Jharkhand CM

Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghubar Das on Monday said isolation wards have been set up at several hospitals in the face of swine flu breaking out in various states.

Ranchi: Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghubar Das on Monday said isolation wards have been set up at several hospitals in the face of swine flu breaking out in various states.

Replying to Marxist Coordination Committee MLA Arup Chatterjee's query of measures being taken to face any eventuality, Das said isolation wards are set up in hospitals at all the sub-divisions and districts, besides the three medical college hospitals in the state.

Medical staff at different hospitals were trained to handle such cases and arrangements were also made to send suspected blood samples to Kolkata, Pune and Delhi for pathological test, he said.

He said required medicines were being sent to hospitals.
