Ranchi: Jharkhand on Tuesday agreed to send a recommendation to the Centre for a second time to consider inclusion of two more castes in the Schedule Tribe list, seven years after the Union government returned it asking ethnographic details.

Replying to Jharkhand Vikas Morcha (Prajatantric) Legislative party leader Pradip Yadav's question, HRD Minister Baijnath Ram agreed to send detailed report as sought by the Centre.

Yadav sought to know whether the government was keen to include Khetori caste and Santhal Pargana's Ghatwar caste in the ST list following Cabinet decisions taken on November 22 and 23, 2004.

On RJD-LP leader Annapurna Devi's question whether computers were gathering dust in 206 middle schools in the state because of "untrained" teachers, Ram said he would look into it.

"As per a proposal, computer training was given to the serving school teachers (so that they can teach students)... we will look into it whether they are capable to impart computer education to students," Ram said.
