Ranchi: Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghubar Das today ordered a probe into the alleged police baton charge on journalists in Jamshedpur on Sunday.
East Singhbhum Deputy Commissioner Amitabh Kaushal will conduct a probe and submit the report, official sources said here.
Six journalists and photo-journalists were injured when police personnel allegedly used batons on them in front of Sitaramdera police station in Jamshedpur on Sunday night.
The incident occurred when journalists had gone there to cover the visit by a Jharkhand minister.
