Ranchi: The Jharkhand government on Friday tabled a supplementary budget of about Rs 1327 crore on the first day of the winter session.

Finance minister Rajendra Prasad Singh placed the supplementary budget in the House, which is expected to be taken up for debate and passage on December 16.

Jharkhand Vikas Morcha (Prajatantric`s) Legislature Party Leader Pradip Yadav demanded that Speaker Shashank Sekhar Bhokta should allow the opposition to raise certain issues before taking up the obituary reference because he had allowed placing of supplementary budget and other business in the house.
Bhokta said Yadav`s contention was taken note of.
Later talking to media, Yadav wondered why the government had to bring in a supplementary budget when the maximum amount from the main budget remained to be spent.
