Jharkhand minister backs CM Sibu Soren on Koda

Jamshedpur (Jharkhand): Jharkhand Welfare
Minister Haji Hussain Ansari on Saturday defended Sibu Soren-led
state government`s decision not to recommend CBI enquiry into
the multi-crore money laundering scam involving former chief
minister Madhu Koda.
"There is no reason for recommendation of the case to
CBI as the state agency is capable to investigate the scam,"
Ansari told newsmen here.
The government was satisfied with the progress made by
the state vigilance department investigating the scam, he
said.

Expressing confidence that the state agency is capable
enough to probe the case, he said the government would depute
more officers to strengthen the team, he said.
