New Delhi: Aiming at developing skilled
manpower, Jharkhand will explore the possibility of adopting
German technology in the state.

"We should explore the possibility of developing skilled
manpower in the state with Germany, as there is a tremendous
scope for it," Jharkhand Chief Minister Arjun Munda said after
returning from Germany here on Sunday.

Munda led a state delegation including representatives
from industry and officials from Industry Department to
Germany for participating in the Hanover Fair.

"It was a six-day tour and we travelled many German
cities like Munich, Berlin and Hamburg. While interacting with
the trade and industry people, we discussed about pollution
free clean energy like solar energy and bio-mass," he said.

Describing the visit as "fruitful" and "good
experience", he said, "We saw the tremendous growth in auto
sector and manufacturing unit. Our aim is to focus on the
development of skilled manpower and also to give a new
dimension to the manufacturing industry with the help of new
innovative technology."

On the future course of action, Munda said, "It was good
exposure for our industry and we have invited them (German
delegation) to our state."

Asked about his view on Anna Hazare`s tirade against
corruption, Jharkhand CM said, "It is a big issue and people
want to get rid of corruption. We are for stronger law to
fight against corruption."
