Jamshedpur: Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM)
was still holding negotiations with political parties to form
a government in Jharkhand, a senior JMM leader said today.
"We are still negotiating with political parties to form
a government in Jharkhand and no deadline was set as such in
this regard," senior JMM leader and MLA Champai Soren told
Asked whether negotiation was being held with UPA or
NDA, Soren said we can form with any political party or
alliances and the condition was that the opinions of the two
parties or alliances should match in regard with formation of
an alternative government in the state.
President’s rule was imposed in Jharkhand after JMM chief
Shibu Soren quit the Chief Minister`s post a day before vote
of confidence in the wake of withdrawal of support by BJP
about one and half months ago.
