Ranchi: Former Jharkhand chief minister Madhu Koda, who is in judicial custody in connection with corruption charges, on Thursday moved the Jharkhand High Court seeking direction to BJP leader Saryu Roy not to go ahead with the release of his book narrating his 23-month-old regime.

Koda moved the court on the basis of Roy's book titled "Madhu Koda Loot Raj".

Contacted, Roy said "Dr Subramanian Swamy has given his consent to launch my book on January 15 here".

Koda, who was at the head of UPA-coalition government between 2006 and 2008, was arrested on November 30, 2009 on charges of financial irregularities during his tenure and facing probe by the CBI and the Enforcement Directorate.
