Maoist kill labourer; destroy public property

Giridih: One person was killed and another injured when the Maoists blasted two under-construction buildings at the new police lines, which is coming up on the outskirts of Giridih town, police said Monday.
The Left-wing guerrillas perpetrated the crime around 1 am, killing a labourer and wounding another, who were engaged in construction work, Superintendent of Police A V Homkar told reporters here.

The police have launched a search operation following the incident.
