Munda files nomination in Jamshedpur

Jharkhand Chief Minister Arjun Munda filed his nomination papers for the Kharswan Assembly by-election slated for February 10.

Minister Arjun Munda on Wednesday filed his nomination papers for
the Kharswan Assembly by-election slated for February 10.

Munda, accompanied by BJP state unit chief Dineshanand
Goswami and Mangal Singh Soy, who had vacated the seat for the
Chief Minister, filed his papers to the Returning Officer
C K Singh at Saraikela this morning, election office sources
said.

Sitting MLA Soy had vacated the seat for Munda, who
will have to win the election to be a member of the House.

Presently, Munda is a Lok Sabha member from
Jamshedpur.
