Latehar: Passengers of Palamau Express had a narrow escape when a tractor, being dragged by a goods train, brushed it on the sideways near Nawaidh in Latehar district on Sunday.
The tractor got entangled with the goods train at an unmanned level crossing and was ploughed through, hitting and breaking the footsteps of 11 bogies of Palamau Express, police said, adding all the passengers were safe.
The incident has disrupted train services on both up and down tracks, they said.
The fate of tractor driver was not known yet.
