Raipur: Naxals on Wednesday attacked the convoy of
BJP MLA from Dantewada Bhima Mandavi, police said.
However, no one was injured in the incident, they said.
Additional SP Dantewada Rajesh Kukreja told PTI over
phone that Naxals opened fire on Mandavi's convoy near
Gamawada village in the district while the MLA was returning
from Bacheli after attending a party function.
Though nobody was injured, a vehicle of the security
personnel was damaged, he added.
The convoy has safely reached Dantewada, Kukreja said.
