Koderma: A day after she filed a petition in court seeking bail, Sudha Pathak, the mother of deceased journalist Nirupama, on Friday withdrew it to make a fresh appeal with additional inputs.

Aggarwal here that she was withdrawing her bail petition to
add some more documents.
Sudha was arrested and remanded in judicial custody in
connection with her 22-year-old daughter`s death under
mysterious circumstances on April 29. She had petitioned for
bail yesterday.
The police, investigating among other angles whether the
incident was connected to `honour killing`, have also filed a
case of rape and abetment to suicide against Nirupama`s
boyfriend Priyabhanshu Ranjan on the direction of the local
court.
