RJD to support the Congress candidate in RS

The five-member RJD in Jharkhand assembly announced the party would support the Congress candidate in the March 30 Rajya Sabha polls for two seats.

Ranchi: The five-member RJD in
Jharkhand assembly on Wednesday announced the party would support the
Congress candidate in the March 30 Rajya Sabha polls for two
seats.

RJD’s legislature party leader Annapurna Devi
announced the party decision at a press conference here.

The Congress, which has 13 MLAs, has fielded Pradeep
Kumar Balmachu in the elections.
JMM has fielded Sanjeev Kumar while Jharkhand Vikas
Morcha (Prajatantric) nominated Praveen Singh.
R K Agarwal and Pawan Kumar Dhoot are the independent
candidates in the fray.
