Seven killed in road mishap in Hazaribagh, Jharkhand

 Seven persons, including two women, were killed and four others critically injured in a road accident in Jharkhand's Hazaribagh district, police said today.

Hazaribagh (Jharkhand): Seven persons, including two women, were killed and four others critically injured in a road accident in Jharkhand's Hazaribagh district, police said today.

The victims were returning to Patna after paying obeisance at Rajrappa Temple in Ramgarh district when the incident took place on the national highway between Hazaribagh and Barhi last night, Superintendent of Police Akhilesh Kumar Jha said.

The mishap occurred when their vehicle rammed into a dumper killing the seven on the spot.

The injured were immediately rushed to a nearby hospital, where doctors referred them to Rajendra Institute of Medical Sciences, Ranchi.

The condition of all the four injured was stated to be critical, Jha added.
