Ranchi: A major controversy has erupted after it came to light that the daughter-in-law of Jharkhand BJP chief Tala Marandi is a minor.
A probe recently conducted by a local child development officer has revealed that Munna Marandi's wife could be just 11 years old.
The investigation was based on the information the girl had provided to her school. As per her school records, Ritu Baski was born on 25th July, 2005 – which means she may be around just 11 years old, naidunia.jagran.com reported.
Munna had reportedly married the minor girl on June 28.
