Medininagar: BJP leader
Shatrughan Sinha on Monday said the Maoists belong to the
country`s social structure and appealed to them to shun the
path of violence.
"Naxalites are of the same family. They left it as
they did not get opportunities from the family (system),"
Sinha said while addressing an election meeting in support of
NDA candidate from Daltonganj seat for the final phase polling
on December 18.
"Shun the path of violence and return to the
mainstream," added the actor-turned-politician.
Appealing to the electorate to vote for the NDA to get
`opportunities to progress`, Sinha warned the people that they
could face harder days if they voted for candidates who did
not have any principles or ideology.
"Don`t send such candidates who might indulge in
blackmailing leading to instability," claimed Sinha.
Taking a dig at the Centre, he said the Manmohan Singh
government had failed to control prices of essential
commodities, particularly pulse and vegetables.
"The single biggest problem confronting the nation now
is the prices of essential commodities, which have hit the
sky," he said.
