Ranchi: Development Commissioner S K
Choudhary on Tuesday took over as the new Jharkhand Chief Secretary
after A K Singh was removed, according to official sources

Singh`s removal has come, days after Congress MLA
Chandrasekhar Dubey had demanded his outster claiming that the
officer had corruption charges against him when he was the
managing director of Bihar Financial Corporation in
undivided Bihar.
The chief secretary issue had rocked the house
for two/three days during the ongoing budget session with
speaker C P Singh expunging certain remarks made by Dubey, who
had trooped to the well in the assembly raising slogans in the
first week of March.

He brought the issue after Governor M O H Farook in
his inaugural address to the budget session on February 28
said the Arjun Munda government had zero tolerance against
corruption.

Dubey sought to know if the government had zero
tolerance against corruption then why was Singh continuing as
chief secretary when he had corruption charges against him.
