Stone thrown at Rajdhani, passenger hurt

Jamtara (Jharkhand): A passenger of
Howrah-Delhi Rajdhani Express suffered minor injury today when
a stone hit him after smashing the window pane in Deogarh
district.

"Somebody threw a stone near Madhupur, breaking the
window pane and the passenger sitting near it suffered minor
injury. When the train driver was informed, the glass pane was
replaced at Jassidih railway station in Degoarh district,"
Divisional Railway Manager (Asansol) KN Jha said to a news agency over
phone.

The train then left for its onward journey.
Earlier, Superintendent of Police (Rail) PK Srivastav
dismissed reports of gun shots being fired at the Rajdhani
train.
