As reported by a daily from South India, the Congressmen there have not heeded to any guidelines laid down by the party vice president. The same has been done to give tickets to state Congress leaders.

The daily reported that Rahul had asked for a minimum of 20 tickets for candidates who were less than 40 years' of age, while the rest of the candidates should be having an average age of 55 years.
