Bengaluru: Congress leader DK Shivakumar on Friday caustically said that Janata Dal (S) leader PGR Sindhia was leaving no stone unturned to win the upcoming May 5 Assembly elections. While addressing a press conference here Shivakumar said, “I will surely be re-elected from Kanakapura constituency.” Ridiculing his friend-turned-political foe Sindhia, Shivakumar said, “I think Sindhia realized that his pack of lies will not save him this time, so he has turned to voodoo to defeat me.” Shivakumar further added, “I am a fighter. I have proved this all along. I fought and won against former chief minister HD Kumaraswamy in Sathanur constituency. I was neither afraid then nor now.” He said though Sindhia had represented Kanakapura constituency for six times, people of the constituency have reposed faith in him. “Sindhia is known for the art of weaving lies. He is master in that game, where as I deliver whatever I promise,” he added. He claimed that the Congress would win at least 130 seats in next month’s elections to the Assembly.
