Bangalore: 38-year-old woman gang raped

Bangalore: A 38-year-old woman was allegedly
gang raped by three unidentified persons who waylaid her at
Nayandahalli in the district on Monday, police said.

The victim, a local resident, was employed in a garments
factory and was returning home in the early hours when the
accused waylaid her and robbed her of her gold chain and cash,
police said.

The assailants allegedly dragged the woman to a secluded
spot, raped her and decamped with Rs 4,500 cash and her chain,
they said.

Medical examination of the victim confirms that she was
gang raped, police said.
