A 58-year-old woman and her two sons who were wanted by CBI in cheating cases across the country, were arrested, police said Wednesday.

who were wanted by CBI in cheating cases across the country,
were arrested, police said Wednesday.
Hemalatha her sons Aravind P (25) and Ajay P (21), natives
of Tamil Nadu, who were on the run for past 19 years were
arrested by recently, police sources said.
The modus operandi of the trio was they used to lure people
by showing them land which did not belong to them as theirs
and on the basis of fake documents, "sell" it after taking an
advance amount from them and used to flee the place.
The trio also duped several private banks by availing loan
giving fake documents and then absconded.
Hemalatha along with her husband Prabhakar was nabbed by CBI
in Tamil Nadu in 1992 for allegedly duping several banks and
credit card fraud.
They were later released on bail and jumping bail
conditions, they were absconding for the past 19 years.
Prabhakar was nabbed by CBI in Tamil Nadu two months ago.
Mobiles and a number of fake documents were recovered
from the three, police said.
